Amendment 15

Amendment XV

Section 1.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

Section 2.

The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

The sections in this amendment means 1. all citizens of US can vote, not denied by race or color
2. congress has power to enforce by appropriate legislation

This is a great picture of how states couldn't bug people of color to vote because this amendment allowed that people of color to be able to vote.
